Social and communication construction of gender identity bywomen serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The purpose of the studyis to characterize trends in construction and manifestationof gender identity by women serving armed forces Ukraine. Research methods techniques. socio-psychological approach made it possible apply method associative experiment, results which were cognitively interpreted. associations obtained for stimulus word «female military serviceman» compared with words «soldier (warrior)» «woman», understand respondents' ideas about masculinity femininity.Results discussion. identification a woman army is dynamic process that aims harmonize interactions professional environment activities, has three main trends: 1) desire meet instructions male ethics as normative standard, adhere patterns masculine society can cause dressing masks an insincere, faked identity, result internal genderconflict psychological states alienation, discomfort, dissonance disharmony are possible; 2) distancing from traditional notions femininity assimilation models behavior, contribute support women's if becomes true full-fledged female serviceman; 3) balanced combines features soldier (warrior) femininity. Conclusions.
